Our Story
Arrow Hill Park was born out of a simple idea: bringing high quality, accessible and affordable education to the entire community. We welcome beginners, intermediate and advanced riders. You’re welcome to bring your own horse or there is horses here supplied which you can see below! Demelza Rowland
Riding Instructor
Hi! I’m Demelza and I’ve been riding for over 18 years and have a true passion for horses. August 2023 I completed my Pony Club NSW instructors certificate. Although I’m new to this I have a large knowledge of horse riding! After many years of experience throughout the industry, I’m thrilled to be running my own instructing school by myself!

Arrow is my heart horse that I’ve since I was 13! Arrow isn’t usually used for the riding lessons although for someone experienced looking for some fun he’s absolutely available!
Arrow is fantastic on a trail ride and so quiet! Although at home he can be a bit spicy! Nothing dangerous!
Arrow is available for experienced only - Home, trails, hired arenas.
Jax - Eric The Axe
Lesson horse
Jax has been in the family for over 2 years! I got Jax after his spell from racing! Although Jax is a thoroughbred he’s absolutely quiet as! Jax is a big boy at 16.2hh but a gentle giant!
Jax has been to pony club numerous times, he has had beginners ride him!
Jax is suited to intermediate and up as he can be a little hard to get going as he is lazy! Available to - home, trails, hired arenas, events.
Stella - Shabeel
Lesson horse
Stella is an absolute little gem! Stella is also thoroughbred but the quietest and most gentle horse I have! Stella is also a bigger horse around 16hh but don’t let her size scare you! She’s had riders from 8 years old to 35 years old ranging from absolute beginners to advanced! All ridden by themselves!
Stella is for beginners and up! Available for - home, trails, hired arenas, events.
